紅日高照南大門 - The Red Sun Shines Brightly Over the Southern Gate (Hong Kong Communist Song)

A song by revolutionary elements in Hong Kong who would later take part in a revolt against the colonial government in 1967. This song was said to be heard during the revolt. Interestingly enough, it is sung in Mandarin, perhaps done so in solidarity with the PRC.

Translation Note: "Southern Gate" refers to Guangzhou, a major city near Hong Kong which is referred to as China's "Southern Gate to the World".
Performer: Hong Kong Ta Kung Pao (香港大公報)
Year: 1967
Source: Flexi Disc "香港大公報"
