ERVs, HRVs, HVAC - Which one?

“If he is installing an ERV, is it not easier to just have an HVAC system for cooling and ventilation?” That’s a comment on my last video on residential geothermal. Starting with the different options to keep the air in your home comfortable and clean, we’ll cover ERVs, HRVs and compare them with regular air-forced ducted HVAC systems. ERVs are ideal for homes that use radiant heating in moderate differences between the indoor and outdoor humidity. In extreme climates a humidifier might be useful in addition.
