Jabu has a old sore up on his shoulder blades that has recently showen signs of activity. We are not sure if there is an infection but some of the skin is drying up and curling up and falling off. It could just be the very slow continuing healing process but we prefer not to leave it to chance. We have been working on this wound for over two years and it has been inactive for many months until recently. We wash it twice daily with mild antiseptic and put activated charcoal on the area to protect it from sun, flies and dirt.
