Most of you will know Botswana has been suffering with severe drought conditions. It is the driest it has been in over 30yrs. We are still awaiting our rains and in the meantime, on a daily basis, we see many stressed and struggling animals. The buffalo seem particulary hard hit by malnutrition and lions. We are currently feeding about 80% of what Jabu and Morula are eating, to cushion them from these difficult conditions. Here is a recent Oat Hay delivery (imported from South Africa) to help secure a food source for them. They are absolutely LOVING it. We are praying the rains come soon, so their wild cousins can also find relief.
