Two Color Tile Burn - Black on green and black on orange

I am playing with a technique of tile etching where you paint a tile with a color and then cover that with black paint. Using the laser, you burn away some of the black to reveal an image of the color below.
I am starting with florescent green and orange as my base color and then covering with black. I found that 3,000 mm/min at 50% power on my Genmitsu 5,500mW LED laser, LE5040, from SainSmart (https://www.sainsmart.com/collections/cnc-machines/products/genmitsu-le5040-cnc-laser-engraver-machine) works well.
