Can I stop in the middle of a burn and start there later?

Can you stop a burn and then start it again? Technically you can. Should you? That would depend on how important it is. Depending on the laser machine you have, you may or may not be able to easily stop or pause your burn and pick up on it later.
I can do that with my Genmitsu LE5040 from SainSmart. I use LightBurn and with that combination, I can pause a burn, even shut off the LE5040, and start it back up later and not even miss a single dot of burning. Not all machines will let you do that as they are more sophisticated and keep better track of what it is doing and where it is oriented.
