Cape Parrot Project - Search for the essence of that which is "wild"

Just before embarking on a 100km/s day expedition along the top of the Amathole mountain range in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. Myself, Dr. Kirsten Wimberger, Jerome Hillaire and Plasie embarked on this long walk to survey the Afromontane forest patches along the mountain range. Our focus was to identify areas where Cape Parrots and Samango Monkeys may be resident? We found some amazing groves of yellowwood trees, hundreds of waterfalls, and didn't see one person for the full 100km. Amazing stuff in the mountain wilderness.
