The Leofoto LS-254CL - A travel tripod for photographer's who want a real tripod

I am not a fan of travel tripods. They are often too flimsy or small, or have leg locks that break or components that literally end up giving you a blood blister. The Leofoto LS-254CL is a extra-long variant of the standard LS-254C Ranger tripod. This tripod is potentially the answer to photographers who want a lightweight travel tripod, but with the features of a full-size tripod.

I took it on an extended trek in the Drakensberg Mountains of South Africa and talk about it after using it extensively while hiking.

You can purchase the tripod from natureslight.com and it costs R6895 in South Africa as of the posting of this video.

Apologies for the audio quality at one filming location...multiple issues with batteries etc at the end of a long hike, and yes...it is not my finest work in regards to focus.
