A Look at the Leofoto Gabriel Tripod
Leofoto have introduced the combination of all their best designs as the Gabriel (also Lucifer) tripod. I've had a chance to take a look at the the silver lined legs and head (although with strict instructions to look after it as it's a demo tripod).
The tripod is designed with durability in mind, with 0-ring and collar seals on the leg locks, a corrosion resistant titanium end cap as well as titanium spikes (with a recessed O-ring). Unlike other Rangers, the tripod also sports the new apex that allows for a rapidly swoppable centre-column or flat plate (something usually only found on large 'system' tripods).
All together this creates the most water and dirt resistant tripod that Leofoto could come up with. Now the question is...is it that much better than the significantly more affordable Ranger series of tripods?
