Single Board Relay Computer: Test/Demonstration & Description
This video shows my initial tests of the "Single Board Relay Computer" kit, purchased online at http://relaysbc.sourceforge.net/.
The kit includes the bare PCB and two pre-programmed PIC microcontrollers, which handle the 'front panel' functionality, while the relay-based CPU does the actual program execution.
My edited (for Digikey) BOM (parts list) can be downloaded via a link on this weebpage:
http://www.serpentwebsite.com/fileshare.htm
Note that the PCB and the two PIC microcontrollers that are part of the 'kit' are not listed in my BOM, because there is no need to buy them from Digikey.
On January 1, 2020, I added to the above fileshare location three more files; a Front Panel Express (Front Panel Designer) format design file for keypad keycap labels, and a PDF of the same, and a TXT file of instructions for using the labels.
