Making Triskelion Stands for Large Brass Instruments

This short video shows my design deliberations, and the fabrication steps required to make wooden stands for large brass instruments, using plywood sections arranged in a "triskelion" pattern. This design can be easily adjusted to fit a wide range of larger brass instruments. The stand allows instruments to be displayed resting on their bells, without danger of tipping over, and yet the wooden construction gives the stands a furniture like quality of appearance.
