The Travel Channels You NEED To Be Watching This Year!

My name is Jonathan Wheeler and I would love you to join my channel and enjoy travel films that inform and inspire. Discover places that you may never have heard of or take a more positive look at destinations that tend to appear in the media for the wrong reasons.
This short film gives you an overview of my channel "Travel Obscurer" (over 111,000 hours of watch-time and 2 million views since launch, and also my new channel "eye scotland" which focuses on the beautiful country where I now live.

I take my inspiration from the classic BBC travel programmes of Michael Palin. I may not have a film crew but I am regularly commended for the quality of the content and asked whether I have a TV background. I don't. I'm a retired lawyer (solicitor in the UK) who has always been made about travel and has swapped the court room for the camera and loves sharing positive stories from around the world. Instead of interviewing witnesses I now interview fascinating creative people around the globe.
