Tesla Terafactory Texas Update #189 in 4K: Shaping Perimeter Roads & Lots - 07/27/21 (4:30pm | 98°F)

Hey guys, it’s Randy! Today’s footage shows the updates on a hot and hazy day at the site. Some noticeable things we see today are the continued efforts to prep new roadways and the different types of parking lots around the perimeter of the site. Things are becoming much more clear as paths are being formed for the roads and additional lots we should see paved soon.

Here are today’s key takeaways:
-The northeast corner shows better shaping and forming of the roads that will be built here as we can see a mud slab poured atop the drainage pipe and a pretty distinct shape of the road that will follow the angled lines of the building, which I personally think is an extremely nice touch! It also looks like this road could be much wider than just a 2-lane road as we can see widening taking place nearest the storage containers extending the lane turning from the south road coming from HGR. Also, the GigaPress roof has more of the welded wire mesh and other materials delivered as well for the next phase of the roof construction.
-The south end of the BIW building shows the 2nd-level floor beams almost completely installed and workers are now placing stacks of metal decking to be spread later.
-The structural steel installation in the southwest corner continues to look good and we can see more columns have been erected near the red crane.
-On the west side of the GA building, we see yet another large section with the same pattern of trenches dug for the conduit we see for the new charging lot north of this one. We see that the smooth and prepped area to extend the latest paved lot we saw yesterday is sectioned off from this too, most likely to keep everyone off of it until the paving vehicles can arrive the next day. As for the north charging lot, we can see that more of the posts to hold the chargers are going in not only nearest the building, but now along the concrete slabs in the middle and edge of the lot nearest the road. We next see the work to widen the roadway area west of these lots as they work south from the north end.
-The BCP building has wall panels steadily being applied along with more roof insulation and both seem to be working north at about the same pace. We also now start to see the perimeter road taking shape north of this building and how it lines up with the one across from it in the northeast corner.
-We wrap up with the southern gap actively having structural steel going in as the structure expands south and we also have pretty much the same work happening in the northern gap as they expand to the north.
