Born in 1981 in Toronto, Sean Pinchin haunts the GTA with his sultry sounds and elegant verse. Sean found his calling in Folk and Blues’, finding the community and the music spoke to his lifestyle and his heart. A self-proclaimed “typical” Ginger and Taurus, his down-to-earth and easy going personality compliments the energetic charisma he projects on stage. His latest album Monkey Brain was nominated for a JUNO for Best Blues Album of 2016. The album was recorded with JUNO Award-winning producer Rob Szabo, who also co-wrote the record. Like it’s predecessor Rustbucket, the songs were recorded quickly with many takes done live off the floor with Pinchin playing and singing the tunes in one complete pass. Old school. “Here’s a guy who’s been playing onstage 180 shows a year for the last 8 years and it shows. He can PLAY. Sean is the real deal”, says producer Szabo.
