The TEDx Talk of 17-year-old Katerina Karaindrou evaluates the “borders” of our mind that disrupt our personal empowerment, through the prism of her inspirational fight with cancer.

After a long battle with a rare form of bone cancer, Katerina became committed to inspiring other people through her personal struggle. Her goal? To give hope to those who need it the most. In addition to her passion about studying medicine, Katerina aims to empower the audience of her motivational speeches, including at the Make-A-Wish World Conference in 2019 and the Make-A-Wish Greece Thanksgiving Night in 2020. At every opportunity, Katerina uses her story as a source of strength and optimism in the effort to spread hope around the world.

Μετά από μακροχρόνια μάχη με έναν σπάνιο καρκίνο στα οστά, η Κατερίνα έθεσε ως κεντρική προτεραιότητα στη ζωή της την προσφορά σε άλλους ανθρώπους. Ο στόχος της; Να καταφέρει να δώσει ελπίδα σε όσους την αναζητούν. Εκτός από το δρόμο της ιατρικής, που επέλεξε να ακολουθήσει, η Κατερίνα προσπαθεί να προσφέρει δύναμη μέσω ομιλιών, μεταξύ των οποίων στο Παγκόσμιο Συνέδριο του Make A Wish το 2019 και στη Βραδιά του Ευχαριστώ 2020 του Make A Wish Greece.
