Hong Kong 4K: Christmas decorations in 1881, luxury shopping in Kowloon

The 1881 Heritage site is a luxury shopping and hotel area, currently made up up with plenty of Christmas decorations.

The complex itself is partly a renovation of the former Hong Kong Marine Police headquarters, and is home to a stunning hotel. (If you get too drunk at the local bar, you may still stumble in to the old jail cells, which are quite something..) Otherwise shops include IWC, Chopard, Piaget and Mikimoto, so there are plenty of other ways to spend your money.

1881 is near to the Peninsula in Tsim Sha Tsui, and to the other side is the Star Ferry, which brings you to Central or Wan Chai.
