Friends of Rhydypennau Library - Andy Frankham-Allen - Doctor Who Companions - 19-08-15

Friends of Rhydypennau Library (FoRL) and Candy Jar presents Andy Frankham-Allen talking about his books Companions: Fifty Years of Doctor Who Assistants & Lethbridge-Stewart: The Forgotten Son. Filmed on 19th August 2015 at Rhydypennau Library, Andy gives us an insight into his research on the Doctor Who companions from the TV series as well as the extended universe in novels and Big Finish audio books. From the original companions, to the very latest characters in New Who, from talking robots to a T-rex! Andy knows his companions!

This is an event arranged by the Friends of Rhydypennau Library, who are campaigning hard to maintain a publicly funded library for the local community in these times of austerity. With events like these, we hope to ensure that the library is seen as a vital asset of learning, entertainment and a sense of community.
