WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY - GOLDENEYED DUCK and other WATERFOWL photography from my FLOATING BLIND

I recently noticed some Goldeneyes while walking a nearby river trail. I was unhappy with the images I was able to get from the river bank, so I pulled out my homemade, floating blind and took to the water to photograph these flighty ducks. Goldeneyed Ducks can be quite skittish, but with the help of the floating blind (or floating hide), I was able to finally get some images I'm happy with! That doesn't mean I'll quit going back for more though! Please remember, anytime you photograph wildlife, the animals should always come first over your desire for that perfect image. A lot of work went into getting these images in a respectful way to the animals. Please put in the extra work to ensure the animals are safe and comfortable, it's always worth it!
