Believer - Is this the best mapping drone yet? NAVLOG #42

Maiden flight and tuning for a Believer UAS, a really well thought out Chinese mapping platform. We used Ardupilot firmware, automatically tuned.

The original plan was three flights, but after a minute or so we realised we could calibrate the airspeed sensor and then tune the platform on the first flight.

Next an auto take off and attempts at auto landing. This didn't work as well but we have plenty of data to make decisions with now!

Very hard to properly express how impressed I am with it. We flew with a broken Sony Camera onboard to fly with an operational weight.

All in all, I flew for 55 minutes with the same battery set and as they are still charging I don't yet know exactly how many maH were consumed.

It flew at 4.3kg AUW, 16A battery 4s, 600kv motors, 11inch prop, 500g camera, additional 500g of other PPK stuff and antennas

This one was purchased here.
