LAZY way to improve hip internal rotation mobility #shorts

Hip internal rotation is VERY important for hip health and glute function.
-
It’s also one of the most common hip mobility issues.
-
Performing this mobility drill may help improve your hip mobility.
-
Typically I’ll do this for 15-20 reps each side.

It’s important that all the motion is occurring at the hip joint. Do NOT let your pelvis rotate.

Pretend there is a glass of water on your tailbone and the water line needs to stay flat and level. If you are twisting your pelvis then you aren’t actually mobilizing the hip.

I like this one because it’s pretty easy to do as long as you can comfortably reach back to grab the leg.

We don’t have the hip in flexion either so you may find it more comfortable just do your best to keep the pelvis flat.
