Turning a marking gauge without a lathe!!! | DIY marking gauge | Hand tool woodworking

I bought this marking gauge kit online and wanted more a cylindrical kind of marking gauge. I don't have a lathe to turn one, but I do have a drill press that I could sort of use as a lathe! So that's what I did...sort of.
