Why this thyme oil acts like LAVENDER

There are different types of thyme essential oil. The way you can tell what one you have is by looking at the “ct” in the Latin name. For example:

Thymus vulgaris ct thymol
Thymus vulgaris ct linalool

The thymol chemotype is strong and sometimes harsh on sensitive skin. It might cause irritation if not used safely.

BUT THE LINALOOL chemotype is as gentle as lavender essential oil! It’s a great substitute for lavender oil, and is soothing for skin. Use it for skin care, relaxation, stress relief, emotional wellness, mental health & wellbeing, sleep, pain relief, and more.

(P.S. If your bottle of thyme oil doesn't have the "ct" on it, you can't be sure what version of thyme you have. This has safety implications. I suggest buying from suppliers who provide that information.)
