Custard Donut Without Yeast
Cream Custard Donut Eggless

Ingredients:
Dough
1/2 cup Buttermilk or
1/2 cup Milk + 1/2 tbsp Vinegar - 10php
3 tbsp Oil - 4php
4 tbsp Sugar - 6php
1/2 tsp Salt - .25php
1 Egg - 8php
1 tsp Vanilla - 2php
2 cups All Purpose Flour - 12.5php
1 tbsp Baking Powder - 2php

Total: 44.75php

Cheese Custard:
1 1/2 cup Evap or Fresh Milk - 20php
1/2 cup Water
4 tbsp Sugar - 6php
4 tbsp Cornstarch - 7php
165g Cheese - 37php

Total: 70php

Dough + Custard - 114.75php
Milk Powder - 20php
Cooking Oil - 20php
Gas + Utilities - 20php

Total Cost - 174.75php
Yield: 18 pcs
Cost per Yield: 9.7php
SRP: 19-25php per pc

Procedure:
1. To make buttermilk, mix evap and vinegar. Let sit for 7mns.
2. Add sugar, oil, egg, salt and vanilla to buttermilk.
3. Combine baking powder and all purpose flour.
4. Mix well, do not knead.
5. Form a ball, cover and rest for 1 hr.

Custard:
1. Combine evap, water, cornstarch and sugar until dissolved.
2. When dissolved, add the cheese. If you use quickmelt cut cheese to cubes, if regular is used, grate your cheese.
3. Cook on low until cheese melts and becomes thick.
4. Cool completely.

Dough Part 2:
1. After resting, dust your workspace and flatten the dough into 1/3 inch thickness.
2. Use a round cutter and cut your donuts.
3. Deep fry on hot oil in medium low heat.
5. Cook each side for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
6. Drain excess oil.
7. Coat with any of these while hot - milk powder, powdered sugar or regular sugar.
8. Poke with a bbq stick to make a hole.
9. Pipe the custard inside.
10. Serve and enjoy!
