Today the topic is 👉 Values in the Workplace 👈

Values mean the ones that matter to you as a person and how you live your life, but also the values of your company and what they stand for. The hope is these are aligned in many ways.

✍️ Understanding and practicing the values of your company in the workplace will help you have a successful career.

While at work, you will have many decisions to make. Using company values as a guideline will assist you in making the right decision.

Often times these values are in line with our goals, as we want to reach and practice these on a consistent basis.

There are 8⃣ values that Danny will mention today 👇

🔸 Communication - Talking, listening, understanding others, providing information.

🔸 Mutual kindness - Be nice to people, work together, show that appreciation for others in the workplace.

🔸 Respect - If you have respect for the other people in your organization, you have a better chance of getting respect back. Understand that all jobs and roles are different, seek to understand with respect.

🔸 Help others - Help goes both ways, so give it when you can. Others will be more apt to assist you when needed. A solid company doesn’t operate well unless all team members are working together

🔸 Be a good teammate - Provide assistance and listening skills. Help in any way to the members on your team. Work together to gain results.

🔸 Patience - In a large company, everyone has needs and is seeking assistance. Your need may be a p1 to you, but in the grand scheme it is not. Show patience as you seek the results you need.

🔸 Trust - Build trust with others and show trust to them. People tend to open up, communicate or provide help for those they trust and which they believe would do the same for them.

🔸 Have Fun - Try to enjoy and have fun at work. Some of these people will become very good friends for years. You spend a lot of time with the people you work along side, might as well try to enjoy it.

8 values to be successful both from a personal standpoint and a professional one. Remember, Values drive who you are, who your company is and what you both stand for and seek everyday!
