UNESCO World Heritages Sites in the Philippines - BAROQUE CHURCHES

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) encourages the identification, protection and preservation of cultural and natural heritage around the world considered to be of outstanding value to humanity by recognizing World Heritage Sites that have cultural, historical and scientific significance, and is legally protected by international treaties. The Philippines is very privileged to have at least six (6) sites that are included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites List. One of these six (6) sites are Baroque Churches of the Philippines. Featured in this video are these churches composed of four Roman Catholic churches constructed during Spanish period.
