Coho Salmon in Crystal Springs
This pair of salmon was spotted spawning in Crystal Springs, a tributary of Johnson Creek, in December of 2018.
The more eyes we have on the creek, the more we can understand the patterns of wildlife that rely on Johnson Creek and its tributaries. All the more reason why our volunteer wildlife surveyors are so important!
Wildlife surveys happen year round- go to http://www.jcwc.org/communityscience/ if you'd like to get in the creek and volunteer to help in that effort!
Thanks to David O'Longaigh, OMF Facilities, Portland, Oregon for this sweet video clip!
