Searching for Wildlife in the heart of urban Portland! Johnson Creek Beneath the Surface

This video examines the Johnson Creek Watershed Council's Community Science Program, in which volunteers survey for Coho salmon, beaver, brook lamprey and other key indicator species throughout Johnson Creek.

The work done by these community scientists plays a critical role in the Johnson Creek Watershed Council's mission to restore habitat and re-establish Johnson Creek to its historical role as a spawning ground for wild salmon.
