Hologram of young Queen waves from Gold State Coach during Jubilee pageant

A hologram of Queen Elizabeth II, appearing to be the monarch from her 1953 coronation, waved to crowds who had gathered for the Platinum Jubilee Pageant on Sunday as the four-day celebrations wrap up.

The Queen herself was not in attendance for the pageant due to ongoing "mobility issues," however, attendees were still given a surprise with the monarch's hologram parading by in the Gold State Coach that took her to and from her coronation decades ago. The hologram reportedly featured archival footage of Her Majesty.

She was seen during the first of the four-part pageant, with guardsmen on horseback flanking the carriage. A military procession followed the appearance, including members from the Army, Navy, Royal Air Force and the Commonwealth.
