Remembering Pearl Harbor
On December 7, 1941, 14-year-old Bud Nakasone was eating breakfast when saw something he'll never forget: the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
A few years later, Bud moved from his family's home on Oahu to Minnesota to train as a Japanese linguist at Fort Snelling. In this video, shot in 2016, Bud recounts to a class of University of Minnesota students his memory of that infamous day.
