"Welcome Home"- Music and Text: Benjamin van Haeff © 2020

This song was written for the catastrophic fires in Australia at the start of 2020. Listening deeply to our collective grief, suffering and prayer, I felt a strong call to invite the waters back home, to call upon their sentience, to give thanks for the element of water in our lives. To give thanks for the tears we cry in our collective grieving for the loss of life and sovereignty.

Listen...we are being called back home. May the waters of compassion bring relief from suffering and bring new life to the barren places within our individual and collective psyche.
