The Collingwood Player Archive: John Williams
John Williams played for Collingwood from 1974-1976, appearing in 35 games and kicking 8 goals. He was a high quality tall defender who was one of two players who crossed to Collingwood under the short lived 10 year rule in the early 1970's. His time at Collingwood was affected by injuries but John went out on a high with his last game as Captain of Collingwood's 1976 Reserves Premiership Team. This footage is from 1974.
