The Collingwood Player Archive: Billy Libbis

Billy Libbis played for Collingwood from 1925 to 1933, appearing in 138 games and kicking 150 goals. In the footage from the 1929 Grand Final against Richmond, courtesy of the 'Marking Time volume 1' documentary, he is wearing number 17. Billy also makes an appearance in Bruce Andrew's training film from the 1930's, which is probably an indication of the esteem he was held in.
