Ukrainian-American singer and songwriter Kvitka Cisyk won hearts singing the songs of her homeland, from almost 10,000 kilometres away.
Two-time Grammy nominee, Kvitka's career was cut short in 1998 after she lost her battle with breast cancer.
Now twenty years after her death, fans held a memorial concert for her in Kyiv.
