O2 Arena: HEARING MORRICONE IS HEAVEN ON EARTH

To celebrate THE Maestro’s 90th birthday ~ and in happy anticipation of the FINAL British concert by ENNIO MORRICONE, which was held at the O2 Arena on Monday evening, November 26th 2018
~ I thought... it might be fun to Edit and Upload a little video …of one of His previous visits to the O2, back on Thursday evening, February 5th 2015.

There isn’t much to see of the actual concert. I took the loud vocal authoritative prohibition of using recording devices to heart. But seeing others in front of me videoing on their smartphones…

I thought, ‘what the heck!’ and got with my camcorder a decent chunk of Ennio conducting the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and Kodály Choir, as they performed Morricone’s celebrated choral piece, ‘On Earth as it is in Heaven’.

The O2 Arena is a long way from 'There' …but I hope I convey to the viewer/listener some sense of the excitement of visiting the O2 and participating in such an occasion.

We all mourn the passing to Spirit of this undoubted genius of Music, ENNIO MORRICONE
...on 6th July 2020, aged 91.
