THE TENDER ROSE (2011)

WE who come together that one time each year, at the end of August; beginning of September ~ to commemorate the passing to Spirit of DIANA, Princess of Wales ~ someone in the media dubbed us
"the Di-hards".

Many are monarchists; some are not. Perhaps all all have in common is a reluctance "to move on"; an inability to "let it go" ~ and a deep need to Remember.

In reality, though, there are cliques of ‘accidentalists’ who want to blame “a drunk driver” and “a playboy” (in point of fact, DIANA’s fiancé Dodi ~ being ‘Do Di’) rather than look squarely at the ugly Truth.

Of course I understand it’s much easier to venerate ‘England’s Rose’ and to not seem disloyal to the pruner.

This video recording the remembrance of 2011, 14 years on, includes an 'interview' with four others of “the Di-hards”. We have since parted company. Back then I needed, particularly talking with the celebrated 'royalist' John Loughrey, to keep the 'tone' tame and conventional. and only touch lightly when invoking the Spiritual.

Not understood by all ~ the 'death' of our body …is not the end of us!

Life goes on. In truth, Life is eternal.

And there, radiant ~ still smiling beautifully ~ is the ascended DIANA.
Indeed ~ perhaps it's an eccentricity only mine.... I call her Christ Diana.
