2003 Honda CR-V No Start (Security Immobilizer Issue)

In this video we go in depth and describe how to diagnose and test a 2003 Honda CR-V for a crank, no start issue caused by a malfunctioning security immobilizer system
Initially, we find that the vehicle will crank, but will not start, as well the immobilizer light is illuminated during cranking. We connect the scanner and perform a complete scan of all systems. This ensures that no relevant codes are present.
Seeing no relevant codes, we switch to live data, which turns out to be rather limited. Suspecting a key transponder issue, the key transponders are tested using a key tester.
The functions and operation of the tester are described in the video, as well as showing the actual testing of the keys, showing how a simple issue can lead to a bigger inconvenience.
