Brexit Causes UK Trade Flow to Collapse

As a result of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, much of Europe, including the UK, experienced a significant drop in trade flow. However, in 2021, the comparable economies in the EU have almost completely recovered as trade flow shot back up to almost 2019 levels. However, despite talk of world beating trade deals, the UK suffered even lower trade flow in 2021 than in 2020. This is because brexit is a bigger problem than covid for trade.
