Sunak Struggling to Get an Ethics Adviser

Rishi Sunak has been trying to appoint an ethics adviser, to oversee ministerial standards, in the wake of the scandals and resignations from Boris Johnson's time in office. Unfortunately, he's a bit trapped. He can't give the adviser the freedom they need to do their job properly, but nor can her persuade anyone to trash their reputation for the sake of being a puppet. This could damage Sunak's claims to be governing with integrity further.
