Ease Neck Pain 101...In Under A Minute
When you get neck tension and pain, the first thing you think of is exactly where the pain is...at the back of the neck. Truth is, the tension through the front of the body is super important to tackle because it is pulling your head forward which loads up the back of the neck (think 5kg supported by tiny bones at the back).
So big key is to target the front of the body. That is, length through the chest with stretches. You can also target postural length through the front with trigger points. Pectoralis minor is a great one to improve posture and Paul shows you how. Then you want to be able to start increasing postural strength to stack the head better long term.
When you get that right you can start targeting trigger points and movement strategies through the back to keep improving for life.
