USAF F-22A RAPTOR ARRIVAL 2019 AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL AIRSHOW

The 2019 Australian international Airshow held at Avalon Airport in Victoria, is renowned for attracting exotic aircraft from foreign air forces, with 2019 no exception. Once again, the United States Air Force sent down a pair of Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptors, that are home based at Elmendorf in Alaska, from the resident 90th Fighter Squadron, known as the 'Dicemen'. They where supported on their journey south by a pair of Boeing KC-135R Stratontankers, from the 912th Air refueling Squadron, from their home at March Air Reserve Base in California. ASO's videographer was fortunate to catch the teams arrival on the Saturday evening before the start of the show.
