The Wheel Motor was $18.44 shipped from eBay and the rectifier was $7.83 shipped from eBay. This gets me a higher voltage but I still don't know what sort of amps I could expect, probably something measures in mA. The motor is rated for 350W @ 36V but I'm not sure what RPM that would be.

This wheel motor could be modified to accept a sprocket but I'd like to try mounting some wind turbine blades on it!
