2 Stage Ram Pump

The theory is that the big ram pump makes the small ram pump behave like it's operating at much greater head heights. In this case the big pump magnifies the head height from about 6ft to 46ft. The secondary pump then amplifies 46ft to about92ft. Much tuning would be involved in just the second stage setup to get it to operate at higher ratios. As you see they are only operating at 7.6:1 (primary) and about 2:1 (secondary) ratios or about 15:1 overall.

My 2" pump while operating at 3ft head heights can achieve 20:1 all on it's own, I suspect the 2" pump with the adjustable waste valve I'm STILL working on will operate the primary pump at even greater ratios at the shown 6ft head height.
