SAN FRANCISCO - AMERICA:
San Francisco police have made a disturbing discovery at two apartment buildings in San Francisco's Alamo Square District, just down the street from the city's iconic Painted Ladies. They found human bones. Natasha Koscak lives in an Old Victorian on McCallister Street near Steiner Street. Her neighbor, who lives across the hall, found a bone in a planter box on the ledge next to the front door.
"The piece I saw was a section, which looked like a jawbone, and the teeth definitely seemed similar to molars," Koscak said.
Police were notified. They too thought it was a human bone and that there may be more. Word quickly spread to other neighbors.
