Why Is The INFJ So Rare? Out of the 16 Myers-Briggs personality types, the INFJ is the rarest- making up just 1-3% of the entire population. While it may seem little, they are not “holy grail” rare.

INFJ Types, for so many reasons, are unique, and it is not just because they are rare. They are also reserve, sensitive and contradictory beings. I’ve known two of them for many years, but they seem quite different sometimes. All in all, INFJ Types are highly perceptive and intellectual people who possess integrity in their hearts. These qualities make them hard to come by.

To put it in perspective, out of a population of 100,000 people, 1000 are INFJ. Fortunately, I have two amazing friends of close to a decade who have this unicorn personality type.

Beyond this, certain benchmark traits distinguish this personality type from others, making it very hard-to-find.
