The latest release from the JEMS Mike Millard master series is the previously uncirculated Long Beach show. This is the first of three nights in the LA area to finish the tour and bring a close to a successful year for Queen. The tape is complete, sans a cut just at the beginning on Stone Cold Crazy. The performance is absolutely phenomenal and no doubt ranks within their top gigs of all time. Freddie is a man possessed tonight, perhaps giving his greatest performance of 1977, and the band are in their element as always on this tour. Releases of this magnitude happen once in a decade, so this one is to savour. Big thanks to JEMS and the late, great Mike Millard for this one.
