Punjab's Maanvan Dhiyan Satikar Yojana explained; Registration, eligibility & start date

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has announced the roadmap for the Maanvan Dhiyan Satikar Yojana, a major welfare scheme aimed at providing direct financial assistance to women across the state.
Under the scheme, eligible women will receive ₹1000 per month, while women from the SC category will receive ₹1500 per month directly in their bank accounts. The Punjab Government says nearly 52 lakh women are expected to benefit.
The scheme will begin from 1 July 2026 and will be rolled out in phases, starting with a pilot project in Kotkapura, Batala, Adampur, Moga, Patiala Rural, Anandpur Sahib, Dera, Sunam and Malout.
