(4k) Summer walk/visit/tour. Scenic World, Blue Mountains, Katoomba, New South Wales (NSW) AUSTRALIA. Including full ride on the Cable Way, one of three rides at Scenic World. All in glorious 4k ultra high definition, captured using my DJI Osmo Action 3. Booked via Sight Seeing Tours Australia. AU$293.77 for 2 adults - Cheaper than Viator!!

This video I've included snippets of my experience, as including the whole footage I took would be too long. It includes a walk through the ancient forest canopy, full ride on the Cable Way, and my return experience back to Sydney.

The Deluxe Day Tour starts off 0700, with a pick up from select hotels. YHA Central was the closest to us, as our Hotel was Novotel International Airport in Wolli Creek, we caught the double decker train to Central, to YHA Central where we boarded the bus.

Hotel pick ups are finished before 0750, where our first stop is Featherdale Wildlife Park arriving there at 8:30 am. Animal food is under $5... no wonder so many people are leaving New Zealand. We can then enjoy the furry friends including real kangaroos, something New Zealand also doesn't have. And enjoy a professional koala photo taken a nice girl, getting to literally touch a koala! Our bus was then due to depart at 1000 where you're given a small koala souvenir for not being late...

Our next stop was Leura, a small town close to Scenic World. Arriving at Leura at about 1100. We were given about half an hour to have a look around.

After visiting Leura, we arrived at Scenic World at 1230. And yup, it was busy because the weather was beautiful and the following days it would be thunder and rain due to Cyclone Ellie. We are grateful the weather was good for our booked day. We managed to go on the Scenic Rail Way, then a walk through the ancient forest canopy, then a ride on the Cable Way. We then waited over an hour in the queue for the Sky Way ride but had to ditch the ride since our tour group bus, consisting of a full bus, was given orders that we had to be ready to depart at 1500. We managed to pay a quick visit to the gift shop, I brought a grey t shirt. The tour operator said they normally give only 2 hours at Scenic World, but they decided to give 2 and a half hours there. One person ended up being left behind. The tour operator did check up on them as we had to leave, they just had to make their own arrangements back to Sydney.

The buses then dropped us off at Olympic Park Wharf in Sydney at about 1700. Where we caught a ferry back to Circular Quay, which is about a 40 minute ferry ride stopping at all stops along the way to Circular Quay. Then hopped on a double decker train at Circular Quay, heading back to Wolli Creek, with a short walk back to our hotel. We thank Transport NSW for putting on extra ferries.

I highly recommend Sight Seeing Tours Australia. The Blue Mountains is a must, next time you're on holiday in Sydney. Its a memory experience. Go for the Deluxe Day Tour, as it includes Featherdale Wildlife Park and all 3 rides at Scenic World. Yes its my ambition to come back next summer.
