South Australia has been called the Saudi Arabia of uranium, with 27% of the world's economically demonstrated reserves. Every pound of Australian yellowcake is exported to civilian Nuclear reactors in the United States, Russia, China, Europe, South Korea, and Japan. Not one bit remains in South Australia for further value adding, or to provide zero-carbon electricity.
