Blue-naped Mousebird - African birding tours

Mousebirds are a bird family restricted to sub-Saharan Africa. These curious birds are named mousebirds, due to their long tails and mouse-like appearance - but they couldn't be further from mice even if they tried. These are generally gregarious birds, that live in tight family groups, and love feeding on berries and fruit. We encounter these strange birds on all of our tours to Africa.
