Purple Sandpiper, Sheringham Promenade, Norfolk, England, high tide 9am 13 April 2021

13 April 2021: north-eastern Norfolk has some lingering winter birds such as Purple Sandpiper, Iceland Gull and Lapland Bunting (at least one of which is now pretty much in summer plumage!) but birds such as Firecrest and Dartford Warbler are also singing and very much in evidence so spring has indeed arrived!
